Counselling - why do people come?
At times in life it can feel that people don't understand us, like we are being judged for the way we feel, like we should be able to ‘just get on with things’.

You may be feeling lonely and isolated, like you are the only one who feels like you do.

You may have feelings of being ‘stuck’ or 'lost' and unsure of why or what you can do to change it.

You may be having trouble sleeping, waking up with an overwhelming feeling of anxiety.

Maybe you can't escape feelings of 'not being good enough' and it's having an impact on your day to day life.

Perhaps you are feeling angry or frustrated and want to be able to respond differently in situations.

You don't need to be alone with your thoughts. Counselling can help.
Counselling - How could it help?
Counselling allows you time to develop a deeper understanding of yourself, an opportunity to learn to live life more freely, reconnecting with yourself in a safe and non-judgmental, space.

Counselling can help to increase your confidence, as well as increase your self-awareness, and also self-acceptance.
The thought of counselling can be daunting and I understand that it can take time to gain trust. I work in a way which will help you feel relaxed and put you at ease, offering support and encouragement. Together we can develop a relationship where you feel able to share openly, and begin to make change.

I offer a free introductory call, or video call where you can ask any questions you may have about counselling and you can understand more about how counselling could help you. This is also an opportunity for you to consider whether you feel that I am what you are looking for in a counsellor, and for me to let you know if I feel that I can offer what you are looking for.
You may not be able to see the path ahead...

... but together we can find a way
